En mi opinión, el menor de los hermanitos no defrauda, su inconfundible voz (quizás la mejor del rock de los últimos 20 años) y su presencia como frontman siguen inalterables, el álbum suena fresco, potente, y con las clásicas influencias que caracterizaron a la anterior banda.

En mi opinión, el menor de los hermanitos no defrauda, su inconfundible voz (quizás la mejor del rock de los últimos 20 años) y su presencia como frontman siguen inalterables, el álbum suena fresco, potente, y con las clásicas influencias que caracterizaron a la anterior banda.

Esta versión alcanzó una gran fama internacional, que hizo que se atribuyera la autoría de la canción a Simon en forma errónea.
Armando Robles Godoy, hijo del compositor de la obra y cineasta peruano, escribió una nueva letra para la canción basándose en la famosa versión de Paul Simon.

El cóndor pasa es una zarzuela cuya música fue realizada por el compositor peruano Daniel Alomía Robles en 1913, y su letra es obra de Julio de La Paz (seudónimo de Julio Baudouin y Paz). La misma fue registrada legalmente en 1933.
Esta zarzuela incluye la famosa canción homónima basada en la música tradicional andina del Perú, donde fue declarada Patrimonio Cultural de la Nación en el año 2004.
Esta canción también posee el honor de haber sido incluída en el repertorio del "Disco de oro de la Voyager", enviado en 1977 en las sondas espaciales Voyager al espacio profundo, como parte del patrimonio musical que eventualmente podría representar a la humanidad ante especies extraterrestres.
